Orientation will be offered on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. before practice. This is not a class or open house, but an overview for anyone who wishes to dive in or review the forms.

What takes place at practice?
The Monday and Wednesday practice sessions consist of chanting and 30 minutes of meditation. The early Saturday session includes four 30 minute sitting meditation sessions broken up by three ten minute walking meditation sessions. Anyone wishing to participate in this session may enter before practice starts or during any of the walking meditation sessions (entry times listed above). The regular Saturday session includes chanting, sitting, bowing and a Kong-an reading. The Sunday practice session includes chanting, sitting, bowing, and a Dharma Talk at the end during which a member typically shares an experience, relates it to the teachings, and facilitates a discussion about how this affects our daily lives and our practice. Whoever gives the Dharma Talk brings snacks for the group and we all finish with coffee, tea, and lively conversation.
